A home base for crews working East Texas
Power line crews upgrading lines across East Texas, pipeliners, welders, and oil field workers stay with us because the math is simple. Weekly site service fees run $190–$220 and monthly stays run $470–$600. Power, water, sewer, and unlimited WiFi are all included, so there are no meter readings and no surprise add-ons. Monthly stays are booked by phone so we can match you to the right site. If several trucks are coming, call and tell us how many.
Easy in, easy out
2 miles to I-20, and nearly every site is pull-through (all except sites 1–3), with room for work trucks and trailers. 50 ft rigs fit easily.
Quieter than in-town parks
Out here it's country-quiet after dark, so you can get some sleep before the next early start.
Laundry on site
A coin laundry and a bathhouse with hot showers make it easy to stay for weeks.
Ballfields, museums, and Friday nights
Tournament weekends. Longview's Lear Park is a 182-acre regional sports complex with softball, baseball, and soccer fields, a walking trail, a fishing pier, a playground, and a splash pad. The city also runs the Hinsley Softball Complex and several baseball complexes. Softball and baseball families can park the camper here for the whole weekend and drive in for each game. Check your tournament schedule for the field.
Game days. East Texas loves its high school football, and Longview's Lobo Stadium is one of the big Friday-night venues. College football fans can also catch East Texas Baptist University Tigers home games at Ornelas Stadium back in Marshall.
Downtown Longview. The Gregg County Historical Museum (214 N. Fredonia St.) sits in a historic bank building. It tells the story of the 1894 Bill Dalton gang bank robbery, and you can step into a real vault. The kids can spend an afternoon at Longview World of Wonders, a hands-on invention museum on Tyler Street.
Plants and job sites. Crews working Longview's industrial areas or projects along the I-20 corridor can make a short commute from a quiet site instead of an in-town motel. Weekly stays also leave you money for a good dinner in town.
Back in Marshall. Fish the pond in the campground, spend a day at Caddo Lake State Park, or time your stay for the FireAnt Festival on the second Saturday of October.
